It may only be three minutes long (3:06 to be exact), but you can easily lose half an hour watching this cake being expertly decorated over and over again.

The tutorial, which is set to some very snappy music, was posted by the Turkish cooking blog Yemekustalari.com on its Facebook page last week, and, at press time, the video has received more than 16 million views. Because it is truly mesmerizing.

The three-minute video grabs your attention from the get-go, with the expert baker’s steady hand frosting the edge of the cake. Nothing too fancy, just a ring of icing around the spherical white confection. But it’s so fast and the baker is so skilled, that you can’t help but be amazed.

By the time the baker is adding some decadent trim to the sides, you’re hooked, coming to the realization that this blank canvas of a cake is going to be expertly decorated in only 3.06 minutes. Well, you just have to see how it turns out, right?

Watch the video above, it’s well worth the time suck. Spoiler: The frosting roses being made to top the cake is hands down the best part.
